We are proud to be owners and companions of the wonderful breed of the West Highland White Terrier, affectionately known as "Westie."  Please do your research thoroughly to make sure this is the right breed for you.  Our Westie Pups are friendly, playful, and curious.  We love our little dogs with the big hearts.  My mommy, Baby, weighs in at about 12 pounds.  The daddy, Luke, weighs in about 14 pounds.  My new little girl, Abi, is personality plus.  I think she will be a bit bigger than Luke or Baby.  She is very attentive and loving.  We enjoy our new trio very much.

No puppies available at this time.  We will have puppies born the end of March, putting go home time the end of May, just in time for summer!

This is our newest addition to the JP's Country Westie family, ABI.  She is about 9 months old in this picture, still cute as can be.  This is what I call the 'ugly duckling' stage.  From about 4 months to 18 months they grow into their ears and loose the puppy cuteness, but haven't got the full Westie coat yet.  It will be about a year before Abi gets her own little litter.  She kept trying to steal a puppy from Baby in her last litter!  I'm sure Abi will make a wonderful mother when her time comes.

We raise our Westies in the country, on 80 acres. So they are just that, my little country westies. They get groomed twice a year, bathed about every 6-8 weeks, and brushed as often as we can sit still together. They have never had any skin or allergy issues. Please don't think they need a bath every week. Luke is the one laying in the grass, Baby is sitting up.

Here the pair is just groomed. They are looking at each other as if to say, too clean? The double coat of the Westie is soft underneath, so a short cut does make for a softer pet. The rough outercoat is staight and helps protect the dirt from getting to the skin.
